Though Lee County boasts communities named Fixer, Fincastle, Heidelberg, St Helens, Cressmont, Proctor, Belle Point, Pine Grove, Bear Track among others, the local government consists of the City of Beattyville government, which is administered by the Mayor and Town Council and the Lee County Fiscal administered by the Judge Executive and four Magistrates.
