Kindergarten Registration is May 25th for 2017-2018

Register your child for kindergarten on May 25th from 4:30 to 7:00 p.m.

  • 4:30 – 6:00 p.m.  All parents and future students will meet with Mrs. Patrick and her staff.
  • 4:30 – 5:30 or 6:00 – 7:00  Choose the best time for you! During this time you will meet with your staff and complete the steps to register your child.

You can pick up your registration packets at the Lee County Board of Education. Please fill these out and bring them with you to kindergarten registration. Staff will also be available during registration to give out packets, as well as, help with document completion.

If your child will not be five on or before August 1st, but you are interested in them attending kindergarten during the 2017-2018 school year, you must complete a waiver form before May 1st. Please contact the Lee County Board of Education for more information.

All students will receive a free set of kindergarten readiness materials, a t-shirt and have their picture taken.

4-H Camp 2017

Join the Cloverwood Stars at 4-H Camp Feltner! This year’s Hollywood themed camp will be the perfect ending to your summer vacation with “lights, camera and action” as we enjoy 3 nights, 4 days all inclusive vacation. Campers will work with their teams to complete challenges, compete in contests and go on themed excursions! For more information or to receive an application call the Lee County Extension Office at 464-2759. Camping spots are limited, so complete your application soon. Camp Dates are June 22-25 and the camp fee is $195,00.

Operation Preparation

Operation Preparation is an advising session about careers and college readiness for 8th and 10th grade students in Kentucky. Students will have the opportunity to use their ILP with career interest inventories to guide them along their educational path. The scheduled sessions will provide time to discuss a student’s career aspirations, workforce skills and the courses required to prepare them for a successful future. Families will receive letters in the mail with additional information about appointment times for these advising sessions. FFA Annual Pig Roast

Every year the Lee County High School FFA students, under the leadership of Mr. Orval Bennet, stay up all night roasting a pig. Every type of pork with all the fixings is prepared by hand to serve to the citizens of Lee County. This year the pig roast will be at 2pm on Saturday, November 3, 2012. There is a fee per person and all proceeds go to the Lee County High School FFA.
