Tourism is a large part of increasing economic development in our foothills region, so the surrounding counties tourism commissions are working together to offer all the networking opportunities and recent information about marketing that will prepare your business for the upcoming tourists season. All local businesses are invited to attend a workshop on “Marketing Our Heritage in the Appalachian Foothills.” This is a great opportunity to network and showcase your business. There is no charge for the event and lunch will be provided. Please RSVP by Friday, March 9th, 2012 so an accurate count for lunch can be obtained.
